Not in the Bible

Here's a little list of a few words and sayings that a lot of people, Christians and non-Christians alike, think are in the Bible but aren't. I'll add more as I find them!

rapture
legalism
Money is the root of all evil
Cleanliness is next to Godliness
Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
God helps those who help themselves
End of the world
Second coming of Jesus Christ
The Anti-Christ
Old Testament
New Testament

Interesting, huh? If you think I'm wrong on any of these--and I could be!--let me know and we'll chat about it. God bless!

You left out one very important one....TRINITY :) God did not send a son....but he himself came...the creator roamed the earth with his creation & became the ultimate lamb sacrifice. "Here O Isreal..the Lord our God is One"....that IS The New Testament first & greatest commandment. :)

Love & Blessings,
Kim

Technically Anti-Christ is in there in a few versions but it's not used in the "son of the devil attempting to overtake humanity and de-throne" god sort of way. It was used to described the non and/or anti-religious.
